This would be a lovely dress for someone else. Unfortunately not for me. I have a similar dress from a few years ago which is my go to for nights out so was hoping to repeat the magic. The linen is heavy and the print is nice. I was worried it would look to "Dorothy trying to get back to Kansas" but it works. Unfortunately the dress was just too short for me. I am tall and love Boden for the long length dresses. A regular length midi dress on a tall woman just doesn't look good. The length hit at the widest part of my calf and somehow made my legs look short and thick. The pleating at the waist made me look wide. A bit of a longer length and a bit less pleating at the waist and this would have been a winner. Originally posted on www.boden.co.uk
